Looking for a quiet, nature-filled coffee shop in Da Lat with a unique Ghibli vibe? Nha Cua ToToRo is the perfect choice. From the moment you enter, it feels like you’re stepping into a small forest – cool, fresh, and full of charm.
The space is spacious and airy, surrounded by greenery, flowers, bamboo, and stone paths, creating a rustic and relaxing feel. The cafe is divided into cozy corners decorated in a Totoro-Ghibli style – soft, minimalist, and Japanese-inspired. Each corner is perfect for taking aesthetic photos.
From tiny wooden houses and bamboo gates to garden tables and cartoon character models – everything is arranged tastefully and has that signature "Da Lat" vibe. No matter where you take photos, they turn out beautiful even without much editing.
A big plus is the owner – an elderly lady who is incredibly warm and cheerful. Every time I visit, she greets guests kindly, recommends nice seats, and chats with you like an old friend. It feels like visiting someone’s home – cozy and inviting.
The drinks are average. I’ve tried the tea, coffee, and cocoa – the flavors are simple and not particularly outstanding. They go well with the atmosphere for a chill experience, but don’t expect them to be the main attraction.
Note: The road to the cafe is a bit steep and hard to find, especially if you’ve never been to Khu Vuon Mo before. I remember on my first visit I couldn’t find it and had to ask locals for directions 😅. But once you get there, it’s totally worth it.
If you love quiet places, being close to nature, enjoy Japanese aesthetics, and taking photos, Nha Cua ToToRo is a must-visit in Da Lat. Just make it through a short uphill path and a charming little world awaits you.
