1. Introduction to Crazy House

The Crazy House, designed by Vietnamese architect Dang Viet Nga, is inspired by nature with curves, twists, and asymmetrical shapes. The building makes visitors feel like they’ve stepped into a fairy-tale world with a mysterious touch. However, personally, I did not find it very impressive.

2. Architectural Impressions

The highlight is that there are no straight lines or right angles—everything resembles tree trunks, caves, and spiral staircases. Each room has an animal theme, such as Bear, Tiger, or Kangaroo.

💬 Personal note: The details felt a bit “fake” to me, and the colors and decorations were not as beautiful as expected.

3. Visiting Experience

  • Photo spots: Many people love taking photos here, but to me, it’s “unusual” rather than “beautiful.”
  • Mainly foreign tourists: The day I visited, almost everyone was from abroad.
  • Narrow and steep stairs: Not suitable for children or those afraid of heights.
  • Viewpoints: You can climb to the high balcony for a panoramic view of Dalat.

4. Tips for Visiting Crazy House

  • Wear comfortable shoes for easy movement.
  • Be careful when climbing narrow stairs.
  • Avoid peak hours to skip the crowds.
  • Average visiting time: 1–2 hours.

5. Crazy House Review

Pros

  • Unique architectural concept, rare in Vietnam.
  • Plenty of quirky spots for surreal-style photography.

Cons

  • Details lack refinement.
  • Narrow stairs can be dangerous.
  • Decorations do not feel very appealing.
  • Better suited as a historical curiosity than a must-visit attraction.

6. Conclusion

Crazy House Dalat is a polarizing destination—some people love it, others don’t. If you enjoy discovering unique buildings and finding unusual photo angles, it’s worth a try. But if you expect a dazzling, safe, and beautiful attraction, you might be disappointed.
