🐾 [REVIEW] What’s Interesting at Puppy Farm Da Lat? A to Z Visiting Guide & Tips (2025)

Latest Update – May 2025:
I just revisited Puppy Farm at the end of May 2025 and was truly surprised by the improvements. If you’ve read my previous review (which wasn’t very positive), I can now say that Puppy Farm has made a lot of progress and is definitely worth coming back to.

• Full name: Puppy Farm – Dog Farm
• Address: Cam Ly, Ward 7, Da Lat City, Lam Dong
• Distance from city center: ~8km
• Opening hours: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM daily

🐶 Personal Experience – Is Puppy Farm Worth Visiting?

✍️ First visit over 2 years ago:

• The flowers were beautiful, the space was green, but…
• The dogs looked exhausted, as if they had to “entertain guests” too much.
• Hygiene wasn't well maintained, many dogs looked dirty and scruffy.

➡️ I decided not to return back then due to the disappointing experience.

⏳ And now (May 30, 2025):

• New water slide and grass slide zones have been added.
• Flower gardens are lovely, and there’s a miniature forest with fog and mist effects creating a magical vibe.
• The dogs now look healthy and happy.
• The shopping area has become cleaner and more eye-catching.
• There's a new chili, strawberry, and pumpkin garden—quite spacious and nice.

➡️ Overall, this is a worthy upgrade, and I’m really glad I gave it another chance.

🌻 What to Do at Puppy Farm?

1. Playing with the dogs

• Dog breeds: Alaska, Corgi, Poodle, Golden Retriever, Husky, etc.
• Petting, cuddling, and taking photos with the pups
• Staff are available to explain more about each breed
• The dogs are rotated on shifts to avoid stress

2. Organic farm garden

• Pick strawberries and taste them right in the garden
• Hydroponic vegetables, pepino melon, cherry tomatoes, baby cucumbers
• A plant-growing experience area for kids
• New chili and pumpkin garden added

3. Photo-worthy zones

• Seasonal flowers: lavender, sunflower, hydrangea,…
• Vintage wooden houses, antique cars, flower stairs,…
• Photo spots with a European vibe in the heart of Da Lat
• New mini forest area with mist effects—very atmospheric

🍓 Facilities and Services

• Café with a view over pine hills
• Local specialties: strawberry jam, strawberry wine, fresh produce, souvenirs
• Free parking, clean restrooms, rest benches
• Tickets available online or at the gate
• Shopping zone upgraded to look more polished

✅ Pros – ❌ Cons of Puppy Farm Da Lat

✅ Pros:

• Large space with lots of greenery
• Plenty of beautiful photo spots
• Hands-on experience with organic farming
• Adorable and diverse dog breeds
• Added fun activities like water and grass slides
• Reasonable ticket prices, good for families and friends

❌ Cons:

• Can get crowded on weekends and holidays
• If you arrive during the dogs’ rest period, they may be less interactive
• Used to have issues with hygiene and animal welfare (now improved)

🗓 Suggested Visiting Schedule

08:30 – Depart from Da Lat city center
09:00 – Play with the dogs
10:00 – Visit the gardens, pick strawberries, explore the mini forest
11:00 – Try the slides, relax with a drink
11:30 – Head to nearby attractions (Cam Ly Waterfall, Hoa Son Dien Trang)
  

🌟 Conclusion – Is Puppy Farm Worth Visiting?

If you're an animal lover, enjoy nature, and want to slow down in the mountains, Puppy Farm is definitely worth a visit – maybe even multiple visits. Especially after the recent upgrades, it has transformed into a versatile complex of dog zone, farm, and check-in spots.
