1. Real Experience – Love at First Try
I accidentally discovered Banh Can Nho one morning while wandering around Da Lat. The shop is near the city center so it’s easy to find, and it even has convenient parking for motorbikes and cars. After trying it once, I was hooked. Since then, every time I come to Da Lat, I have breakfast here.
2. Crispy Banh Can, Rich Dipping Sauce – True Da Lat Flavor
- The Banh Can here is crispy, not mushy or soft – very satisfying to eat.
- The dipping sauce is tasty, with meatballs, scallion oil, and a well-balanced savory-sweet flavor, with a touch of chili for that extra kick.
- One time the cakes were slightly burnt, but the next time I reminded them "please don’t overcook them", and I got 3 portions of perfectly crispy, delicious cakes.

The shop is small but clean and airy, with fresh air and a peaceful vibe – exactly the kind of morning atmosphere you’d expect in Da Lat. A great way to start the day gently and warmly.

This time, just like every other visit, I came back to Banh Can Nho for breakfast. The Banh Can was still tasty, the dipping sauce still rich, and the space airy and pleasant. However, the place was a bit more crowded due to the summer holiday.
Unfortunately, I forgot to remind them not to overcook the cakes, so about one-third of them came out burnt. Honestly, this was disappointing because burnt food not only ruins the flavor but could also pose health risks if consumed regularly.
I still love this place and will keep coming back every time I visit Da Lat. But I hope the owner will be more careful in the future and avoid burning the cakes to maintain the wonderful taste that made me fall in love with this spot in the first place.
